Track & Field National Letter of Intent Signings (As of May 22, 2008)
COLLEEN CONRAD, from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio: Conrad, a distance runner, has been a three-year state qualifier in Ohio, where she finished ninth in the state's Division II cross country meet as a senior with a time of 18:44 over five kilometers. She also holds her school's record in both the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs and has earned Academic All-Ohio honors in the 2007 season.
PAIGE KRUSE, from Cuba High School in Cuba, Mo.: Kruse is an all-state performer in the high jump and 800-meters, with recent finishes of sixth in both events at the Missouri Class 2 state meet held over the past weekend in Jefferson City. Kruse had a time of 2:23.76 in the 800 and a clearance of 4-10 in the high jump at the state meet. She also competed in cross country and helped lead her team to a district championship in the 2007 season; she would later finish 30th at the state cross country meet.
KASSIE OSBORNE, from Central High School in Evansville, Ind.: Osborne was a state qualifier in the 400-meter dash at the high school level, where she was also a conference and regional champion. Osborne was an academic all-city selection in both track and cross country.
SADYE WICHMANN, from Kirksville High School in Kirksville, Mo.: Wichmann qualified for the Missouri Class 3 state meet in two events after placing second in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump at the sectional meet. She recorded a mark of 35-9 in the triple jump and 16-9 3/4 in the long jump to earn her spot in the state meet. Wichmunn also took third in the district meet in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump. She has been an all-district and all-conference performer in both events throughout her high school career.
